This is my 'new to me' Hypertherm Max40 plasma cutter, vintage 1991. It was an E-bay purchase ($167.75). Shipping was only $4.75 short of the actual purchase price. It weighs 180 lbs and had to bee put on a pallet and shipped freight. It needed a new torch. Torch and consumables came to $214. Not bad, considering what a new made in the USA 40 amp plasma cutter costs. I think the weight and bulk of this unit will discourage people from asking to borrow it.
