This is my latest Jeep purchase. I've always regretted selling my '60 CJ5. This flat fender kind of makes up for that. It was at a farm auction I attened on 5-17-03. The body is nice and solid, but not pristine. The floors have been covered in fiberglass. I'm not sure what's underneath the fiberglass but the floors feel very solid, so I'm going to ignore them unless they become a problem. the Jeep seems to be all stock and the drive train seems to be in good shape. The carb is shot, but the engine seems good otherwise. The brakes don't work. The master cylinder was rusted solid. Jerry Hunnicutt and I pulled a drum and were surprised to find new shoes and a new wheel cylinder in there. A new Solex carb and a new master cylinder are on order. I should have it road-worthy shortly. It didn't come with a tail gate, so I put that blue CJ5 tail gate on it.
