Mr. Gurrola also retains significant expertise in Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance program development (OCC, Fed, SEC, FFIEC, Basel II, SOX, COSO, state/federal law) and has consulted for major U.S. banks including Wells Fargo and U.S. Bancorp.
Mr. Gurrola is firmly committed to education and lifelong learning, and has been an educator in many different academic settings, including teaching music to elementary schoolchildren in France, music instruction at Pomona & Scripps colleges (Claremont, CA), developing the film scoring program at McNally-Smith College (St. Paul, MN), and developing and teaching the Intellectual Property Law curriculum at Inver Hills College (MN).
